• Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights

YAG works to create space to enable the adolescents/youth have access to sexual reproductive health information and services including menstrual hygiene management and HIV/AIDS through awareness raising based on their rights, skills development, peer-to-peer/school health programmes among others.

• Active Youth Citizens Engagement

YAG’s mission is anchored in the belief that young people are a force for peace, democracy and equality – and an essential human resource for sustainable development and poverty reduction. YAG works in partnership with youth groups and organizations who share in the values and principles to work towards eliminating barriers to youth in all development process affecting them.

• Education and Enterprise Development 

YAG works to support Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) through educational sponsorship, vocational and technical skills development, and offer business training, mentorship, and start-up support for young entrepreneurs to establish their business.

• SDG Youth Participation 

YAG serves as the Secretariat for the 2030 Youth Alliance for Africa working with and mobilizing young people in Ghana and Africa to work in the SDGs’ accountability process through Annual African Youth SDGs Summit.  The platform is to ensure the voice of young people in the Voluntary National Review (VNR) process.
