• Advocacy and Shaping Policy

Through advocacy, we speak out on issues affecting children and young people, demand for improve access to services and enabling environment that drives sustainable development. Our reports, policy briefs and articles are aimed at information sharing, sharing of best practices and first -hand evidence from the field to inform and shape youth policies.

• Youth Leadership Development

As a youth-led organization, our strength lies with the young people we work with. Through training, leadership skills development, workshops and seminars we empower and equip young people and emerging leaders with the right skills, tools and resources to become better leaders.

• National and International Convening 

YAG convenes national dialogues on topical issues and the flagship African Youth SDGs Summit is the largest gathering point for young people and policy makers to discuss, exchange and share best practices and experiences on the role of young people in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Agenda 2063. Since 2017, the summit has attracted significant interest and support from stockholders from governments, the UN System, international and local organizations. Additionally, in 2019, YAG organized National Dialogue on Sexual Violence Against Boys and Girls in collaboration with Plan International Ghana with support from the UNFPA Ghana and UNICEF Ghana.
