National Dialogue on Sexual Violence Against Boys and Girls.

Youth Advocates Ghana-YAG in collaborations with Plan International Ghana with support from UNICEF and UNFPA held a day national dialogue on sexual violence against girls and boys in Accra Ghana.

The event brought together 300 participants made of government officials, UN Agencies, International and Local NGOs, students, young people and the media to dialogue on how to end sexual violence now. The Minister of Gender Children and Social Protection – Hon. Cynthia Morrison gave the keynote address at the event with statements from UNICEF, UNFPA, Plan International and Department of Children. In attendance were senior officers from UKAIDS, OXFAM, GACA, Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition, the CSO platform of SDGs, Teachers from Senior High Schools, youth advocates, religious and traditional leaders and the media.
