Janith Prabashwara Perera – Sri Lanka

Janith Prabashwara Perera is an emerging Youth and Peace Activist from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. He has been in the fields of volunteerism and activism since 2013 and has endeavored to serve humanity and make the world a better place from his childhood.

Professionally, Prabashwara is a lecturer cum trainer and he conducts lectures, workshops and training programmes throughout Sri Lanka in EnglishLanguage and Literature, Leadership training and Soft Skills Enhancement. He is very much passionate about peace activism and peace as a discipline and a research interest. This includes his current perusal of a bachelors degree in Sustainable Peace and Conflict Resolution from the department of International Relations, University of Colombo.

Prabashwara is a member of the UN Youth Peace Panel of Sri Lanka. He was selected to this 30 member panel of peace activists in Sri Lanka after a very competitive interview process conducted under the preview of the UNFPA of Sri Lanka. Prabashwara is also a former National Task Force Member and current facilitator of the International Youth Alliance for Peace and mentors the ‘Peace in Action’ project which is aimed at teaching English and developing Skills of Underprivileged kids in Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

Prabashwara has been conferred the most prestigious ‘Mahatma GandhiLeadership Award’ for his contribution for Social Empowerment and Social Development by Prof. Dr. Vijayakumar Shah from India at the Mahatma GandhiLeadership Awards Ceremony hosted by the Lanka Achivers’ Foundation at theBMICH, Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has also been honoured with the honorary
title ‘Youth Peace Animator’ by HWPL, South Korea for his efforts inconsolidation of Peace and Peace Education.

Prabashwara has published several poems, articles and educational /research papers on Peacebuilding. He has won awards for these publicationsboth nationally and internationally.

Prabashwara believes in the capacity of everyone to be Peace builders. Hedesires peace builders to emerge from the grassroots and people tocultivate inner peace, which would result in peaceful living and a peacefulworld. He believes in the potential of young people in achieving the SDGsandconsiders that Durable and Positive Peace is only possible when weachieve the SDGs. Therefore it is in mission in life to unite and mentoryoung minds to work for the realization of the SDGs

Joyce Williams, Esq.- USA

Joyce Williams, Esq. is a multiple award-winning, U.S. Supreme Court-admitted, international trade, business, and immigration attorney; an international arbitration change agent; a prolific legal author; and the visionary founder and managing attorney of Armooh-Williams, PLLC, an internationally-recognized International Trade and Commerce, Corporate and Business, and Immigration law firm headquartered in the Washington, DC Metro area. 

A vibrant advocate, advisor, and international legal industry innovator, Joyce's legal career has included working at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law in Incheon, South Korea; the International Law Institute in Washington, DC; and the Annapolis, Maryland-based SILLAC firm, providing advisory services to multinational Latin American and Caribbean companies on U.S. Trade policies. Via her multiple vice chair ships at the American Bar Association's Section of International Law, together with her leadership at the Africa Bar Association, Joyce has supplied technical assistance to numerous African governments on the use of Arbitration as a pivotal tool to revolutionize existing commercial/trade strategies and effectively attract substantial, direct foreign investments. 

Joyce’s  legal authorship/editorship includes serving as the Editor-in-Chief to the American Bar Association, Section of International Law, Africa Committee's "Africa Law Today" Journal; and inclusion in "Go West, Young Woman, Grow Up with Your Passion: Careers In International Law" (Fifth Edition, Editor: Marcelo Bombau, ISBN 978-1-64105-334-1, American Bar Association Section of International Law, (2019). 

Joyce's consistent speaking and panelist engagements have enlightened audiences on a variety of trending legal topics, such as, regional integration, blockchain and international private law.   In her spare hours, Joyce tirelessly provides pro bono legal services for immigration clients earnestly pursuing the dream of U.S. citizenship.

Joyce also serves on the Board of United Community and AsankrangwaKroyeKuo.  She is an avid soccer fan and has recently embarked on a project to combine her legal skills and passion for soccer to fight human trafficking in soccer.

Frederick KwaminaDadzie - Ghana

Frederick KwaminaDadzie is a Business and Social Development Consultant, Public Speaker, Trained and Experienced Facilitator, Professional Events MC and a Politician, with over 14 years of senior management experience in applying the Volunteer-led development model. He has had excellent working relationships with International Volunteers from Canada, United States of America, United Kingdom, Japan, and the Caribbean for over almost two decades.

As a livelihoods Coach, he was instrumental in the research and development of a youth livelihoods project that was undertaken in 5 countries around the world Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, Bolivia, Peru and Indonesia and worked with stakeholders to formulate and adapt a Work Readiness and Entrepreneurship Curriculum. As a strong advocate for economic independence as a catalyst to fighting poverty especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, he has been active in developing policy and blue prints regarding the innovative Hub ecosystem in Ghana

Sharon Rose Aggrey – Ghana

Sharon Rose Aggrey is a versatile journalist with added potentials in public and personal relations. She upholds flexibility and independency in decision-making, and leaves positive image wherever I find myself through servant leadership.Additionally, shehas excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written), critical listening and customer care skills. 

Sharon Rose Aggreyis a member of the Society for International Development (Washington Chapter), AWID, Youth Lead, Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), United Nations Association (United Kingdom), and Promo Africa (Ghana) – a Non-Governmental Organization of African coverage with the purpose of promoting inclusion and spearheading the affairs of the physically challenged and HIV/AIDS victims. She champions the course of women, children, the vulnerable and the marginalised people in our societies. She is also an advocate for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
